I recently completed the Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek over 20 days as a solo hiker. When looking to book the tour from overseas I was overwhelmed by the options available, but Incredible Treks seemed to be a great combination of professionalism at a fair price. From the moment of contact, nothing was too much trouble, and Nabin did all he could to facilitate my trip. The trek itself was incredible. Having heard that Annapurna and Everest are very busy through trekking season, I was keen to experience a more remote Nepal, and see Nepalese and Tibetan culture largely untouched by tourism, while still having a physical challenge in the high mountains. The Manaslu and Tsum Valley Trek fit this bill perfectly. Bing a solo trekker I was concerned that it would be too much one-to-one time with my guide, but I need not have worried. Kaalu was greatly a young energetic and knowledgeable guy who was always there when I needed him, and nothing was too much trouble. His knowledge of the mountains was great, and he provided cultural insights the whole way (worth the price of the guide alone). I felt safe with him at all times. The mountains were incredible, with the high pass at over 5000m enough to challenge all physical fitness. When I come back to Nepal I will have no hesitation in booking with Incredible Treks.
We were recommended this company from my good friend who had trekked the EBC with them in 2019. I'm happy to say that 3 years later, they're still an absolutely fantastic company! Incredible Treks is owned by Krishna and a couple of partners and we were lucky enough to have Krishna himself as our guide for EBC. He is extremely approachable, very knowledgeable and will adapt any part of the trek that he can to suit your needs. To that end, my trekking buddy was HIGHLY concerned about having to share toilets every night of the trek. Krishna was able to secure us private toilet facilities at most of the teahouses that we stayed at and we even showered fully twice on the way to Everest Base Camp. That's what I mean when I say this ended up being a luxurious trek! Who knew any of that was even an option?! On top of that, Krishna always knew the cleanest, friendliest (and tastiest menu) to stop at for the daily tea break during the actual trekking each day. We had such a fantastic time! I also recommend booking the trip option that includes the helicopter ride back to Kathmandu from basecamp. It means you don't need to trek back along the same route for 4 days, so you can use the time to see some other parts of Nepal or go rafting or canyoning from Kathmandu. The EBC trek is a stunningly beautiful trek that everyone should do once in their lives. Do it with Incredible Treks and you may be back every year!
I went trekking with Krishna and 2 friends in 2017 across the Langtang valley. I was so impressed by the the friendliness, professionalism and knowledge from Krishna that I booked another trek this month with his company. This time I had a similar experience, our guide Ram went above and beyond to ensure we were happy, comfortable and safe. I would definitely come back to incredible treks, and would highly recommend them.
I was also impressed by the great communication before and after the trek. Nabin always replied straight away to my emails and calls giving me detailed information regarding our proposed route and any follow up questions.
